YouGov’s outlier projection of a Hung Parliament that would see Theresa May fall short has caused some major league jitters.
But it is important to calmly reflect on this fact: the consensus from nearly all pollsters is that the Conservatives remain on course for an increased majority.
A Bloomberg survey of the main polling companies saw 5 of the 6 expecting a Tory majority of 40+ seats, compared to the 17-strong majority May was operating with pre-election.
There is no doubt that Theresa May has had a major wobble and been massively exposed during the course of this election campaign. But Prime Minister Corbyn still looks some distance from reality. Doesn’t it?
